About the Bride:
I was born and raised in good ole’ Grand Rapids, Michigan on October 1, 1991. A lot has changed since then …
My parents have had two more children, making me the oldest of three. I have a sister, Meredith and brother Andrew. I attended Grandville Public Schools for all of my K-12 years. After high school, I began college at GVSU (Grand Valley State University). After two and a half years, and a few changes of my major, I am now a Junior and a Business Major (hoping to someday go to Law School). I plan to use my degree to work in Human Resources. I currently have two jobs. I work at GVSU in the Human Resources department as a student assistant, and I work for Comfort Keepers as a Caregiver. I am very excited to marry my best friend in December 
About the Groom
First off, my name is Steve. Secondly, my last name is Moerdyk and this will be Marie’s new last name.
Glad we got that cleared up …
Just like Marie, I have lived in the Grand Rapids area my entire life. Born on September 24, 1988, I lived in Jenison, Michigan through 7th grade. Being not only the youngest between my two siblings, I was also the only boy. Lord, help me.
I was raised by two incredible parents when I was younger: Steve Moerdyk and Jackie Moerdyk. My mother lost her battle to Cancer back in 2002 which changed my life dramatically. My father re-married a wonderful woman named Judy and she has helped shape me into the man I am supposed to be. I currently attend Davenport University and am majoring in Business Administration and General Management. I will be graduating with my Bachelor’s degree in August 2012 and am currently pursuing management opportunties within various industries; preferably the Federal Avation Administration. Currently, I work as a production supervisor at a local manufacturing company and cannot wait until the day I “officially” get to spend the rest of my life with the woman I love!
